General Conference Information

What are the official dates of the 2020 JIB-NFA Annual Conference?
The official dates are Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 24, 2020. 

Who should attend the JIB-NFA Annual Conference? 
All Jack in the Box approved vendors, allied partners, corporate personnel and operators and their families and staff are encouraged to attend.

Where is the JIB-NFA 2020 Conference located? 
The Conference will be held at the iconic and luxurious Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

What are the resort check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is at 4:00pm. Checkout is at 11:00am.

What is the first event? When does the Conference open? 
The first official event of the Annual Conference is the Golf Tournament on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 7:00am. The Opening Welcome Reception is also on Monday, July 20th, and kicks off at 6:00pm. 

What is the last event? When does the meeting end? 
The 2020 JIB-NFA Conference officially concludes on Thursday, July 24, 2020, with the Awards Night Cocktail Reception starting at 6:30pm.

What are the Hotel Conference Package dates?
The four-night hotel package dates are Monday through Thursday, July 20, 21, 22 and 23 with checkout on July 24, 2020, based on double occupancy. Reservations are automatically made when you register for the conference.

*Note: If you plan to golf in the 7:00am tournament on Monday, you will need to secure an extra night for Sunday, July 19, 2020.

What is the Dress Code for the Conference?
Attire is business casual. Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, polo shirts, Hawaiian shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses and most importantly, comfortable shoes.  We do recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary and the weather outside will be warm. We do not recommend jeans, shorts or other casual clothes.

Resort and sports attire is appropriate throughout the day. Shoes and cover-ups are required in the lobbies and in all indoor restaurants, lounges and public places at all times. Clothing specifically designed for tennis should be worn on the courts.

**Please note: July weather in Nashville is typically hot and humid. Temperatures range from 70 to 90 F.

Are children allowed at the Conference?
Of course! The Association welcomes families to attend our events. Children 5 to 12 need to register for a “Kids Club” package. All children 13 and over are required to register for the conference as “Guests”.

Is there a fee for additional room occupants?
Yes. A charge of $20.00 per person, per night will be added to the folio for each guest over double occupancy. There will be no charge for children up to and including the age of 12 years who share the room with their parents. Maximum occupancy per room: four (4).

Book your flights into Nashville International Airport – Airport code: BNA. We have partnered with United and Delta Airlines for discount airfare for our conference attendees.

UNITED AIRLINES

United Airlines offers discounts between 2% and 10% off applicable published fares for travel to Nashville International Airport (BNA) from July 16 to July 26, 2020. Book your airline reservation at united.com. Choose your flight times and access your meeting discounts by providing the “Z Code” ZHPZ and “Agreement Code” 411611.

DELTA AIRLINES

Delta Airlines offers discounts between 5% and 10% off applicable published fares for travel to Nashville International Airport (BNA) are from July 16 to July 26, 2020. Reservations and ticketing is available ONLINE for our group. Select 'Book Your Flight' and enter our Group Meeting Code of NMTPX .

You may also call the Delta Airlines Reservations Desk at no additional fee. The number is 1-800-328-1111. You will need our Group Meeting Code of NMTPX.

Ground Transportation to Hotel

The Gaylord Opryland Resort is a 10-minute drive from Nashville's International Airport.

SEVERAL OPTIONS

BY SHUTTLE: Gaylord Opryland offers daily roundtrip shuttle service to and from the Nashville Airport. Look for the Gaylord Opryland Welcome Desk on the lower level of the airport between the two escalators. An agent can assist you with your travel needs and ticket purchase, or use the kiosk by the welcome desk.

- Shuttles depart daily every 30 minutes from 7am to 6pm.
- Cost is $35 per person, roundtrip fare.
- Ages 18 and under are complimentary with accompanying adult.

BY UBER OR LYFT: Both are available from the airport.

BY RENTAL CAR: Rent a car at the Nashville airport. There are multiple providers available.

HOTEL PARKING RATES:
Valet Parking = $40.00 per day, inclusive of tax
Self Parking = $27.00 per day, inclusive of tax

SEDAN & LIMOUSINE SERVICE: The airport service includes signage and a personal greeter at the airport baggage claim and assistance to the waiting car. To book, contact the Transportation Department at (615) 613-8617. Please call for pricing.

* Exit the airport onto Interstate 40 West.
* Follow Interstate 40 West to exit 215B and merge onto TN-155 North/Briley Parkway.
* Continue on Briley Parkway to exit 12 for McGavock Pike toward Opryland Hotel/Convention Center/Music Valley Drive.
* Merge onto McGavock Pike, then turn left at Music Valley Drive towards Opryland Dr.
* The resort will be on the left.

Four Night Conference Package

How much is the conference package?
The four-night conference package is $1500.

Are there discount packages for NFA Franchise Operators and Partners?

NFA Members will receive a discount code for their first package. NFA Members/Partners will receive an additional discounted registration code with unlimited use for family, staff and partners. Discount codes will be emailed to Members and Partners.

How do I register for the conference package with hotel? 
Enter your hotel arrival and departure dates. (Note: If you are sharing a room with another REGISTERED attendee, your hotel information will not be collected.) If you are not prompted to collect arrival and departure information, you have NOT selected that you need a room reservation for yourself.

*NOTE: Please do not contact the hotel regarding your reservation or stay as they will direct you to our conference reservations team.

What if I purchase additional hotel nights?
If you plan on arriving early or staying later than the package dates of July 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2020, purchased additional nights at $250 each up to three (3) days before or after the conference will be calculated in the final invoice as an average daily balance (minus the 4 nights covered under your hotel package). Extra nights are based on availability.

NOTE: If you plan to participate in the Golf Tournament on the morning of Monday, July 20, 2020, you will need to purchase an additional room night for July 19, 2020.

I have a question or problem regarding my registration.
If after reading the registration process you have any questions, please email our reservations team.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Conference registrations cancelled on or before April 30, 2020 will be entitled to a full refund, minus an administration charge of $75. Registrations cancelled after April 30, 2020 will not be entitled to a refund.

Please forward cancellations by email to UME Productions. Refunds will be processed thirty (30) days AFTER the conference ends. You can expect your refund around August 24, 2020.

What if I need to send someone else in my place? 
Attendees may transfer registrations but must notify us immediately by email. All requests must be emailed to UME Productions up to 72 hours prior to the conference.

What is included in my registration?
Conference Registration packages include the following:

  • Lodging for two (2) attendees
  • Attendance for two (2) to the General Sessions, Keynote Sessions and Educational Breakouts
  • Two (2) tickets to the Welcome Reception
  • Two (2) tickets to Vendor Appreciation Reception
  • Two (2) adult entries to the Vendor Tradeshow
  • Two (2)  dinner tickets to the Closing Night Awards Dinner

How do I register my children and/or guests?
Children aged 5 to 12 and under need to register for a "Kids Club" package, which is explained in more detail on the Registration tab.

Children and guests sharing accommodations over the age of 12 must purchase a “Guest” registration (Badge Only) to attend the events of the conference. This includes all food functions and General Sessions.

There is a maximum of four (4) guests per room.

Co-workers or associates in the industry do not qualify as Guests. They must register separately with a full four-night conference package.

Is there a charge for additional room occupants?

How do I register?

How do I know if I'm registered? 
All attendees will receive a confirmation by email. This confirmation is your receipt and verifies your address information.  If you have questions, please email UME Productions call 760-798-2957 ext 112

How will I receive my conference badge?
When you arrive at the registration counter, you will receive your badge and additional conference materials and gifts for your valued attendance.

How to Register

Step 1: Purchase a Sponsorship Booth Package as outlined on the Sponsorships page.

Basic booths include one four-night hotel package and one full conference badge. The conference badge provides admission to all conference events and meals as described in the Schedule of Events. Room packages and the number of conference badges vary with premium sponsorships.

The four-night package is for July 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2020.

Step 2: Purchase any additional Badges as needed when you register.

You will have the opportunity t purchase additional badges during the registration process. The conference badge provides admission to all conference events and meals as described below under Vendor Conference Badge.

Step 3: Purchase additional room nights as needed when you register.

The hotel package dates are non-negotiable and cannot be shifted. If you plan to participate in the Golf Tournament on Monday, July 20, 2020, you will need to purchase an additional night for July 19, 2020.

Step 4: Purchase additional 4-Night Hotel Packages for Exhibitor Staff as needed when you register.

If additional hotel packages are needed for your staff, you can purchase them during registration. See details below.

All attendees, including those sharing accommodations that are 13 years of age or older must register separately as a GUEST (up to two (2) guests per room. )

Guests are welcome to participate in the Welcome Reception, General Sessions, Keynote Sessions, Vendor Trade Show, and the Awards Night Dinner.

What are the check-in and check-out times at the Gaylord Opryland Resort?
Check-in is at 4pm.

What if I arrive early or need to checkout before my departure to the airport?
Luggage and large items may be stored with the bellman. If your room is ready before 4pm, you will be allowed to check-in early.
